Split the Jabberwocky poems into parts and practice Present the poem with each group doing their action to their part With that same group (6 groups) decide on a fairytale to present and choose one narrator, the rest are actors with no speaking parts. September/ February 10- Present a storyline Script reading Practice- start with Basketball Bloopers Story of the three pigs In groups read the Real Story of the Three pigs Assign parts and read the Trial of the Big Bad Wolf 11- Finish Reading the Trial of the Big Bad Wolf, acting on stage Teach stage Directions 12- Teach stage Directions- Play four corners Quiz 13- Get your script and parts Separate into rooms and start reading through your play three times Write down what you think you might need. Fill in Practice Sheet 14- Great day or Poopy day- You decide! 10 min study scripts and memorize (read through twice) Split groups 1-5 stay in theatre and run through script Others color halloween picture or word puzzle Groups 1-5 in the theatre. The props have been separated into different boxes for different skits. October/ March 17- Split up into groups to memorize Certain groups perform in theatre For each page you memorize you put your name in the hat If your name is pulled out you perform for candy.
